Flow Rate Calculator

Adjust your extrusion multiplier based on measured wall thickness. Use digital calipers or micrometer for accurate measurements.

How to Measure

  1. Print a calibration cube or wall test with 1–2 perimeters.
  2. Measure the outer wall thickness with digital calipers at 3–5 points.
  3. Calculate average measured thickness.
  4. Enter your designed wall thickness (e.g., 2 × nozzle diameter = 0.8mm for 0.4mm nozzle).
  5. Check new flow % below and update your slicer settings.

Adjustment Summary
Walls match expected thickness. No adjustment needed!

Tips

  • • Make small adjustments (5–10%) and re-test between changes.
  • • Ensure consistent nozzle temperature and print speed for accurate results.
  • • Take multiple measurements across the print to account for variations.
  • • Flow adjustments affect both single-wall and multi-wall geometry.
